You can now register for the first edition of the summer school in “Web and social media archiving and preservation” organised by the Cultural Heritage Department of the University of Bologna in collaboration with Fondazione Flaminia.
The summer school will take place online from 6 to 10 September 2021 and it intends to offer high-level training on the topic of archiving websites and social media, that are a new and diversified kind of source material of capital importance for many scientific fields (historical, sociological, anthropological research).
The summer school is for cultural heritage professionals, computer scientists, digital humanists, people working in the public and private sector, students in Library and information science and in Digital humanities, and everyone interested in the topic.
The school has the patronage of associations ANAI, AIDUSA, AIB, SISBB and AIUCD; participants that are part of these associations will enjoy a discount when enrolling.
Deadline to register is 23 August 2021.
