ARA’s second Dissertation Showcase Event

ARA’s Section for New Professionals has launched their second Dissertation Showcase Event: it will take place on 7 April, at 7pm BST.

During this event you will be hearing from: 

  • Georgina Robinson: “Come Hell or High Water: Climate Action and UK Archives”
  • Emma Jones: “Pollution as an agent of deterioration: an investigation into whether the archival profession requires greater training and education around the impacts of pollution on archival collections”
  • Luke Morris: “How are artificial intelligent enhanced character recognition systems being used in the archive profession, and what impact can they have for user access to historical collections?”
  • Rowan Rush-Morgan: “An exploration of archivists’ perceptions on the use of GeoWeb technologies to increase the discovery and accessibility of cartographic resources within archives”.
