Ennio Morricone, Oscar-winning Italian film composer, died today.
We would like to remember him with a lesser known piece, which really shows his amazing talent in sparking emotions: the soundtrack of the TV series “Mosè”, from 1974: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qNQO7hrm0Hw
We chose this piece because by searching for his name in Archives Portal Europe we found out that the soundtrack was originally given to Anthony Burgess before it went to the maestro: http://www.archivesportaleurope.net/ead-display/-/ead/pl/aicode/GB-3104/type/fa/id/gb3104-ab/unitid/GB_SLASH_3104_SLASH_AB_SLASH_ARCH_SLASH_D_SLASH_1_SLASH_496/search/0/Ennio+Morricone
