The Italian Portale Antenati (Ancestors Portal) allows people to trace their origins and their family history. They are posting stories from their users (in the section “Family Histories”) to prove how important the Portal’s role is, both for genealogical researches and its support and assistance function.
For instance, in this story, Flavia Pizziolo tells how she started looking for her great-grandparents and from that research she managed to trace over 120 cousins and relatives! They met in 2019 in Vittorio Veneto, with people coming from all over the country.
