With Catholic Easter behind us and Orthodox Easter coming up this Sunday, it’s time to go back to #isolationbaking! This week on #bakingfriday we would like to focus on wine: hard to make at home, but in moderate doses a good companion during the lockdown!
At the Archives Nationales you can find a history of wine from Antiquity to the Middle Ages by Yves Renouard, one of the most important French Historians of the 20th century. The title? “Le vin”. One of the biggest takeaway of his research is that the history of wine is inextricably intertwined with that of Christianity in Europe. Courtesy of France Archives.
