
The Evangelion contains the following four gospels:
Gospel of Matthew (fol. 1r-78v)
Gospel of Mark (fol. 79r-128v)
Gospel of Luke (fol. 129r-190r)
Gospel of John (fol. 191r-241v)
The Evangelion includes only those Gospel passages that are actually read during liturgy services. The full-page miniature, in colour and gold leaf, is depicting of St.John Theologos standing, dictating to his assistant Prochoros sitting on his right hand side.
The text is written in red and brown ink. Floral illuminated headpiece with geometrical patterns, and a decorated initial for the beginning of each Gospel.
